Drugs, like most other things we take in, are processed in the body, and released in only traces of the toxin. These traces are leftovers after being processed and shouldnt be harmful.

No, since drugs taken orally move throughout your body through your blood stream. However, if you've applied a topical medicine your dog may become sick or poisoned if he licks it.

have you ever heard such a thing? NO, thats why

Maybe if he had drugs under his fingernails or something, but not from licking skin. Otherwise drug users could just keep licking themselves and stay high forever.

Not unless there are drugs on the skin, or if you have done like so many drugs they are leaking from your skin, it could have been sugar, it makes dogs wayyyy Hyper

well, I don't know about other drugs, but alcohol is released thru breath, urine, and sweat.

Since your dog was small..I suppose it's possible..if alcohol was involved.

Tell him not to come over that way anyway. You'll never know what he will do to your dogs...

Stay on the safe side, either keep ur dogs away from him when he visits or ask him to leave if u think he is high. Someone "high" could do something stupid to ur pets while under the influence.

That only works with acid. Acid will leach itself to the skins surface.

No, unless he has the residue of the "drugs" on his skin (I suppose that would probably be his hands or his face). I think it would probably be noticeable to you though.
I don't think licking him would make your doggies sick.
