Da Vinci Code controversy - It is everywhere! Dan Brown's book claims Jesus in not divine or God, and the gospels as we know them, have been changed, and after Jesus stay here on earth, men raised his status to the level of God. Could any of this be true? This is clear teaching throughout the Old testament (Torah), the scriptures that Jesus himself read and taught from. God is one not one of three; for example: ‘He is God; there is no other besides Him’. (Deuteronomy 4:35). The same is mentioned in the book of Mark in the New Testament, chapter 12, verse 29, when Jesus, peace be upon him, had been asked about the Greatest Commandment he replied, "To know, O Israel, the Lord your God is One Lord; and you have to love Him with all your heart and all your mind and all your strength." Islam claims to "break the code" so to speak, over 1,400 years ago. The Quran states: "There is only One God (Allah) then have reverence for Me and fear Me (and Me alone)." What u THINK About ISLAM?

I don't see a reason why any calendar should be on a different year than any other calandar. With a world connected by the internet it's downright backwards. The world needs a new calendar which connects everything.

I will name this new calandar the Sparkloomian Calendar. Today is 01-01-01 and at this exact moment, the Sparkloomian time is now 00:01.01

Hello everyone,

I'm just starting to study Language Acquisition, and I would be interested to hear your anecdotes and memories about your children learning to talk.

What were your children's first words? How old were they?
Before your child could speak properly, did they have their own words for objects such as blankets or dummies or concepts such as food?
Do you think your child's language acquisition was affected by anything around them? For example, the baby who referred to milk and food as "Ning", mimicking the noise of the microwave.
Did your child have a lot of face to face interaction or were they left alone for periods, especially in front of the TV?
At what age did your child begin to form sentences?

Any other anecdotes would also be appreciated, however irrelevant you might think them.

Also, what should an average child be able to say at eighteen months? I have been assured by my parents that I was forming quite complex sentences. Is this normal?

I tooka liking to the one where the guy and gal are sittin on the bench and he starts playing the nokia ring w/ his mouth and looks over at the girl and points and shrugs as if to ask if it was her phone. I've been with my bf for 8yrs and I love him so much. I couldn't see anyone else in my life. I want to make him happy and I devote myself to pleasing him.

Yet for some reason, when I meet another man who's warm to me and I become friends with him. I end up cheating with him. It's like I want to make that man happy too. Be the one that can do that. But I love only my bf. It kills me that I do this and I'm seriously tring to stop....what can I do to fix me? What the hell is wrong with me!?! We bought a floor model computer from best buy. For some reason it is not letting us down load any programs or have access to and gives us an error message of that we do not have access due to the fact we are not the administrator. We have even tried to get the computer in safe mode by tapping or pressing the f10(its f10 on our 2003 windows xp media editon) button does not work. We've also tried logging in as admin but it also doesn't work. It says kiosk on the username for log in and the password is not recognizalble. Best buy won't help unless we take it in. Please help! :(
