The girl I am interested in and I have very different musical tastes; I listen to hip hop and r&b mostly while she listens to rock and electronica. Does the difference in musical preference keep a relationship from happening?

Not at all be mature about it and let each others difrences be okay. Sometimes as the relationship blossoms you pick up each others habits such as me I actually now listen to my ex boyfriend's music. ANd till this day love it. The music was not the reason of our apart but other reasons so anyways I would not worry about much more things to worry about than that.

no i dont think it should keep the relationship from happening.... u can compromise... sometime u listen to her music and other time she listens to yours... there is more to a relationship than music....
