Either the Breakfast club or Ferris Beuller's day off, both are incredible movies in my opinion. They are in my top favourite movies of all time, simply because of the messages in those movies, we can learn a little from them.

The breakfast club focuses on the differences between people, but those differences can sometimes bring people together, well there are many more messages but that's one of the major messages.
Ferris Bueller's day off is a very fun movie, however there are some important messages/lessons to take away from it. The movie, in my personal opinion stresses the importance of living life to the full...to be somewhat impulsive.

I really enjoyed both movies, because not only are they entertaining they teach a few of life's most important lesson's, thus they are inspirational and have have a positive influence on me.

I am going to ask for a little flexibility and nominate 'Apocalypse Now'. Although released in 1979, I did not see it until 1980!
I found that it successfully showed war from the view points of several different participants without being judgemental.
The audience was left to make up its own mind, certain of only one aspect - The Horror, The Horror.

War Games or Ferris Bueller's day off. Not that I think Matthew Broderick is a great actor, but both kind of nailed the mood of the times.
