He waited for me at the stairs,
Felt like I hadn’t seen him in years.

I was wrapped up in silk scarves,
Smelling of Japanese perfume,
All I could think of was being wrapped in his arms,
Like a bracelet and I was his favourite charm.

Down the spiral steps I went,
Full of wonder and excitement.
Did not see his face at first,
He saw my legs and denim skirt,
Then I saw him in that shirt.

We both began to laugh when we finally saw each other in full view,
So many things I wanted to say,
And do,
But I was too busy being in love with you.

Few moments in my life have been as special as that,
The fact is you already knew that,
And that’s why I’m so lucky to have you.

A friend of mine told me that hot water pipes in a house will freeze quicker than cold water pipes. This seems completely counter intuitive to me, and seem to violate laws of physics. It sounds like an urban legend to me. I tried to argue that it must have to do with the relative position of the pipes is some cases. He stated it had to do with an alteration on the property of the water (which I doubt). If it is true, I would like someone to explain to me the science behind it, which is why I am posting it as a science question rather than a plumbing one.

My best friend got a new boyfriend. He talks to her, then ignores her. As soon as he is around she ditches us and kisses his a$$. If she is talking to me or any of her other friends, he runs up and gets her away from us, or tries to draw attention to himself. She constantly asks my opinion on her relationship and i tell her that I think that he is wrong for her. She then yells at me and tells me that I am a bad friend. I have no idea what to do. He is 9 months old and is a very happy and active baby. He was born six weeks early and has always had problems keeping food down and spitting up to much. He also refuses food at times. I made an extra appointment for him when I noticed these problems and that's when he was taken out of my custody. I am in need of any advice or stories that might help our situation. Thankyou.

I was a youth leader at my church until I was kicked out because one of the kids had a crush on me. She took portions of emails and created a note and gave it to the pastor. I did only one thing in that email that was true. I took her to work one day, after making sure she had permission from her father, who was also a youth leader. Nothing happened. I took her to work, dropped her off, and went back to college.

More recently, I have been trying to get a group of post-high-school students together for fun and games. We've met 3 times and now we can't seem to get together at all. Some quote scheduling conflicts. I think it has to do with the fact that my church is turning into the type of place no one wants to go to have fun.

The most recent event is a game night. I was going to charge people $2.00 admission to help support our group. However, the pastor thinks that because games are involved, it would be gambling. I'm done with this church! Do you think I'm right?

I was wondering if anyone had any information about the pros and cons of animal vaccines. I am doing a paper for school, I can find a lot about the cons but not a lot about the pros except that they protect the animal from diseases, but it is not enough to write a section on the pros.
