I think of myself as a postmodern ironic pedant.
If the sign says "wait here", I do. If asked if I can be helped, I reply, "No thanks, I'm quite good at waiting"
If the sign says, "Don't walk on the grass", I run/skip/hop/cartwheel instead.
At a Strbucks in Edinburgh there was a sign in the toilet saying, "Put only toilet paper down the toilet." So I pee'd in the sink and shoved a load of paper down the toilet.
I like to "Ring for attention", although I rarely get much attention for the little dance I then perform.
I see no reason why pedestrians should not obey "stop" signs - even if it means others have to walk around me.
As you can see, I like to be obedient in these ways.
Do you have any suggestions for new ways I can do as I'm told?
