Let's say you're living in your parent's home and they're homophobic. They don't allow you to live as who you are. This behavior is obviously stupid and idiotic in so many way and there isn't much a child can do about it. The child already has enough to put up with, dealing with every other stupid homophobic behavior out there. But in this case, they can't really walk away from it or get away from it because they must live in their parents house. What really can the child do? Homophobia is stupid and needs to be attacked once in for all. How can we punish these stupid parents?

okay. i'm fourteen and i'm 5'6" and 110 lb, my mom is 5'7 and half, my dad is 5'9"... so how tall will i get? i tried heigh predictor sites and one said only 5'6 and another one said 6'0!!!!

i have installled this ethernet card many times before, its a realtek card,what happened was i thought i inserted the card inside but in reality i didnt , so when i connected the yelllow wire in the motherboard the computer turned on for a second then turned off- almost like it was overpowered and blown, then i noticed that a strong smoke smell like a heated in a car. when i fitted the tower i then noticed that the card wasnt put in propery. now that i have fitted everyting correctly, everytime i turn on the computer, it you can hear it run but it dosnt sound like its starting up or making a loading sound and there is nothing showing on the the monitor even though its on. please- i have AS Chemistry and Biology coursework and notes for the exam which is next week!!!!!!!,my pc specs are;1.6ghz intel pentuim 4,512mb ram,5200geforce fx,supermicro P4SDA socket 478 pentium 4 motherboard, 40gb maxtor 7200rpm SATA2,if you have ANY information i would be so grateful, please anything, thanks.

Hey, I am in the process of signing up for the national guard. I am trying to make it so I can go to the basic training this summer. Does anyone have any advice on what I should be doing to prepare and what I should be looking foward to. I am not in shape at all. In fact, I am very much out of shape. I am a lesbian and I really don't know how that is going to work out. I heard about the whole don't ask don't tell thing but most people that meet me can just tell that I am a lesbian. It's probably a mixture between my boy clothes and short hair. So... any help would be nice.

I took a drug test yesterday and it had been 19 days since the last time I smoked marijuana. I am not a frequent smoker, at the most 2 times a month.. if that. I am 5'5-120lbs and I have been working out almost everyday for the last 2 weeks and drinking almost a gallon each day, except for yesterday I drank a little more than a gallon. I would say I have a fast metabolisim and I didn't think I would have a problem, but the thing is.. when I took the test, my urine wasn't completely transparent. It had a tint of yellow to it, so I don't believe it was exactly free of toxins and whatnot. Would you say I have a good chance or passing, or not?

**I do not want to hear, "you shouldn't have done it in the first place".. "thats bad for you". I obviously know I should not have don't it before the test, but I didn't know when I was going to get a call back, so don't even start to lecture. you're wasting your breath cos I don't give a ****. it's my life, my choice.. get over it.**

I watched an episode of 20/20 tonight and it was very shocking and sad to see how these children of Camden, NJ lived. I can't believe that people in our country actually live like this...How can we spend sooo much money trying to better other countries when we have people in our own country living this way?!? After watching this it has motivated me to want to do something, if anything, to help someone's life, but what could I do or where should I start??

i am a guy, but i think that if a woman wants to go out on a one night stand every once in a while then its fine and i think that she is NOT a slutt for doing this. i think its fine if a girl likes enjoys sex but isnt ready for a real relations ship yet and if she has needs then let her fulfill them. i think its kay if a girl also want to show a little skin every once in a while and maybe a little cleavage as long as she doesnt dress like like a total whore like most of the women who dress like that today. if thats how a person is gonna dress then that is how she is going to be treated plain and simple. i have respect for women who enjoy sex and are comfortable with themselves but i also feel disgust and disrespect for women who do nothing but sleeps around and dresses very promisciously. but sadly that is how most of the teenage girls of america drees and act today

The other night my best friends little sister who is 23 and I 27, were watch a movie at my place together. We’ve known, argued and played pranks on each other since childhood. My house is very big and creepy at night. Long story short I got a dim-witted idea to pull a prank on her (like we always do!), by scaring her once she got back from my bathroom. So when she was walking down the darkened hall I jump out and scared the crap out of her! She punched me in the chest and stormed off. I laughed, thinking it was funny at the time…until I followed her into the living room and realized she was crying really badly. Sitting her on my lap I stroked her back and hair, telling her I was soooo sorry. I was extremely SHOCKED because she NEVER cries! Well not when anyone is watching. Since she was a little girl she has always had this (I’m beautiful, smart, successful, I don’t need anyone) tough girl façade. Well I posted a previous question relating to this the other day…I got a lot of good answer. However everybody told me to talk to her and find out why she was really crying but to be honest I don’t know how to go about it. Every time I ask her why, she tells me without making eye contact “I don’t know.” And tries to change the subject…we both know that there was another major reason for her crying but she won’t say. I really do care about her… I know she’s not angry with me…and I could pressure her into telling me but I don’t want to make her cry once more. She seems to be unusually vulnerable from the other night.

How do I get her to open up to me, and tell me the truth, without making things worse?
