This is a curious idea I was struck with recently. Suppose you could create a clone of yourself to take over your life after you die? You submit a sample of your DNA and when you die, they create a duplicate of you, to whom you leave your entire life. This clone could be a fully developed adult, or it could be a newborn who would inherit your estate. What are the ramifications and ethical concerns, and if you would do it, how would you arrange it?

Ok.. I don't have a specific reason.. but I honestly can't stand Valentine's day. It has nothing to do with having a boyfriend at the time or not. I just can't stand it!!

There's a new boy in my life and he's so sweet. I know he's already thinking about plans for Valentine's day...

I asked him not to do anything for me.. but I know he will.

How can I make the best of this crappy Holiday? Haha! I really can't stand it!

The radiator has a knob that says "off" turn counter clockwise, I turn it all the way and the heat doesn't seem to go down, I would think that less water would go through the radiator. Any know how th eknob works...do I turn it half way to stop the water from passing through? I know this sounds silly but the knob moves up and down but the heat doesn't seem to change.

Does she ever come to Ma.? I know she had a signing last Oct.(or was it Nov?) but i couldn't go due to big transportation problems.
I know that in Feb. 16-18 she'll be in Boskone but wth is dat? Is it some annual celebration w/ tons of famous authors in formal clothing or is it more casual.

sorry this is very blunt..i was almost two weeks late in getting my period..one week ago i spotted but it was barely anything..finally yesterday i got my period and today i saw a big piece of tissue..it didn't really look like a blood clot because i saw some grey..could i have just had a miscarriage? or a really big blood clot ( sorry )

Okay, when I was in second grade, I liked a guy who is now the geekiest kid in our class. My friends tease me about it all the time, but never in public. I told them not to tell anyone. So my ex-best friend (she was my ex-BFF before this) goes around in computer class and shouts "(my name) had a crush on (his name) in second grade!" my other friends told her that i was embarressed and she should stop. but did she? no. she kept saying it. i denied it, but i don't know if people believed me. what should i do? its not so much that i care that people know that i like this dorky kid. i mean i am WAY embarressed, but thats not the main thing. my real question is what should i do with the friend that spilled this secret? i feel like i can't trust her anymore. and i'll be honest, our friendship has been very rocky recently. please help! thanks!

I would just like to know if there is anyone out there who has experienced a cheating spouse and there was resolution after the spouse confessed? I've never really understood what a republican or democrat is in the essence people always tell me I'm republican and stuff like that. Sometimes I'm told I'm liberal too and I'm not exactly sure what that means.

Can someone explain in basic terms what it means when people are classified as one or the other? Some examples of why people would think you're one over the other?

What about being a liberal? And what's the opposite of that? Conservative?
