I always liked that little kids book about the mom who always took care of her son and then the mother was so old that he carried her up the stairs and cared for her. I think they sang a song together or something?

Peter Rabbit my mom would read it to me at bedtime when I was a little kid it is one of the best memories that I have and by doing that with me even though she wasn't a great reader (she's slightly dyslexic and did not do well in school) she gave me awesome reading skills and a love of books that I will carry with me through my entire life also loved Charlotte's Web best book ever!!!

I absolutely adored this book called "The Little Fur Family", but I don't remember who wrote it. There was also a series of picture books about a bear named Patrick. I loved all of them. I remember there was "Patrick Buys a Coat", "Patrick Eats his Dinner", "Patrick and Ted at the Beach" and a few others.

The "Emily of New Moon" series by L.M. Montgomery. "Anne of Green Gables" was okay, but these three books were so much better! Plus, she wanted to be a writer, and that's what I wanted to be when I grew up, so I could relate better.
