I moved to florida from michigan about 1 year ago. i have no friends beside my brother. ive yet to have a serious relationship. its really starting to really get to me. i know im attractive, i just dont know what im doing wrong. most girls ive been with has been a one night stand. most girls think that all guys just want to have sex. but i dont. i love to cuddle almost more than anything. i suppose it could be my self confidence, because growing up, i had it really tough. few days ago, something changed me. i had a talk with some family members and now i am forgetting the past and moving on. also i used to be very shy around girls. but now i overcame that, and im quite comfortable around girls. all this happened in just a few days ago. now that ive changed and i know that im a new person now, what do i do now?

I am 29 years old and I live in kansas. I am wanting to gat a divorce from my husband because he has been emotionally distant the last 6 years of our marraige. He makes promises for "someday" and when I ask when that will be, he yells, or puts me off again. His teenage son is physically abusive to me, and he doesn't find that unacceptable. We have 3 small children and I have to get out. He is VERY controlling, and throws a fit if I even spend five dollars that I do not tell him about, or take a few extra minutes to get to work- he swears I am having an affair. This is my first relationship and I don't know where to start in getting divorced.

Heres the deal this guy i like asked me to be his girlfriend and I want to be but im afraid of what he might say when I tell hm my parents have really strict rules.
These are the rules:
1.First I can only see him 3 times a week outside school.
2.When I see him it has to be outside of my house
3. They have to meet him
I don't know what to do should I say yes. What do you think he might say?
Please help
My family is really traditional and they use the same rules used in Mexico.
