when you have bad credit? I dont want to apply and get denied cause thats just gonna look even wrose on my credit report. I'm wanting to get something that i can use to rebuild my credit. If you know of somthing specific that i can use that is easy to get approved for please let me know. Thank You

Most gas cards are now issued as "private labels" by major credit card issuers and most of the lending criteria is the same. You can get a secured credit card where they give you a credit limit equal to the amount you deposit with them. You have to be careful with these as they are very fee driven and are quick to charge you over limit, late fees, etc. Once you establish some history with them they change them to a normal credit card and raise your limit with how you handle the credit.

You can get a secured credit card. That means you pay them up front for the amount of credit you will use. Yeah. Like 300. you pay and they you only have a 300. limit. That way after a while they may give you a little more and it looks ok on your report. Just stay smart and always pay on time. don't charge anything you can't buy. That is the reason people are in this shape, you can't afford to charge if you can't afford to pay for it to begin with...it costs more right? So, be careful and smart. You are young and will need a car or a house one day and that is what you need the credit for, not a credit card, right? I wish you luck. Try a bank for that card or call a cc company and ask them how to get a secured card to build up your credit.
