First of all - PLEASE, don't be offended anyone. Its a real question and something that has bothered me for a long time. I noticed that lot of men working in and around the tourist industry take as friends (and lovers!) ladies from other countries. I somehow got the impression that Islam is against pre-marital affairs? Am I wrong? If not, what could be the explanation for such behaviour? I just couldn't ask those guys ... and probably they wouldn't have answered.
But I love Egypt and her people anyway!

My neighbors are pretty decent folk, but their parenting skills and children's behaviors are right out of super nanny...

Yet I am a single mom and parenting comes naturally to me in a situation that is supposed to be harder. (people assume that single parenting is harder then a two parent home). My home is quiet, well run and we have fun and show respect and have a good discipline tecnique down.

Why does parenting just come naturally to some and to others they have no idea what they are doing? I am really curious about this, because I know we all do our best and are equal.. but why?

my cousin is 19 weeks pregnant...she found out about her pregnancy at like 5 or 6 weeks and that was by a home pregnancy test..she took a pregnancy test the other day, another home test cause the babys dad thought she was lying and big drama there and it came out negative!?!? she went to the dr the next day and saw her baby on the ultrasound and the heartbeat was good and everything looked perfect..were real excited cause im 32 weeks and shes 19 so our babys are gonna be close and were close and were worried somethings wrong..has anyone had a false negative test come up so late into their pregnancy??

This is kinda a hard situation for me- I live in small southern town in MS, rasist still exsit everywhere- I was raised by my mother who took me to church and told me to love everyone no matter what and my idiot "good ole boy" dad who used the "n" word eversecond and is a big sterotyper and racist and thinks anyone who speaks to "non whites are "n-lovers" I really cant stand him- my sister still lives with him and shes 22 thank god my mom rubbed off on me and i am not like that (and thank god she finally divorced him after 27yrs..he also thanks all men are kings and women are here to serve) anyways i have a 4 yr old son I try to distance us from from them because i dont want him around stuff like that and want him to think its ok to be like that I am tryin to teach him to judge ppl as indivals not as thier skin color- should i just say hey SHUT UP around us or dont come around or just make sure i try to teach my son thats not right? (hes a jerk and so is my sis but family?)opion anyone

I made a big mistake, It was like I walked off the side of the earth and left this woman behind hanging in the breeze. She counted on me and I counted on her for her friendship and love. It was totally uncalled for. I deeply hurt this woman and myself.I have no excuse for my stupity. Now I find my self all alone and no direction to go. Don't know how to approach her or even began to explain my actions. How to you ask for forgiveness even though I am not worthy of it. What a dumba$$ I am. What does it mean when my boyfriend of two years seems reluctant to talk with me about our future such as getting an apartment together and someday getting married. I mean, he will agree with me when I'M talking about it but he mostly just remains quiet and his thoughts seem to bo on something else. Does this mean what I think it means? Or is it maybe he's just shy...Sometimes I swear he thinks I'm only with him for his money, which is TOTALLY not fair because when I first met him he had NO money and I paid for a lot of things..maybe that was my mistake...

Ok so I have been sick three times this motnh (within 4 weeks) and have had 3 courses of antibiotics, I am currently on my third in the month. I first got a sore throat (sore throats are very dangerous to me), then a v. bad flu and now i have a chest infection. In addition to the antibiotics I have taken many other medicines (decongestants, anti-histamines, panadols etc.). Yesterday i had two sips of vodka and now my kidneys are feeling sore. Could it be because of the medicines I am taking or should I expect an infection? thanks!
