Girls don't pig in public. They want to portray a dainty feminine side to impress others. To each their own.

Some eat until they are full, whether that be all the meal or half. Others eat to impress their dates. Sometimes girls actually eat before they go out to dinner so they won't look likes pigs in front of their dates.

For the most part I believe it to be an insecurity issue.
They may miss there mouth or drip.
Unless you go to a restaurant that serves really big portions. Then it is just being full.
Or maybe they are just so into you that they can not focus on there food :)

because the portions are too big and we aren't that hungry and we need less calories than men just because we have smaller bodies.

trying not to look like pigs in front of the date. they just dont like all of it, it gets cold while you are making sweet talk to each other.
