why do people sometimes wear lead aprons when receiving x-rays? i think it has something to do with protection but i'm not sure.

I'm just wondering. I think it would be awesome to live where smoking is illegal and one could be arrested on the spot. I'm a little miffed right now because I have neighbors that like to put out their cigarettes on my doorstep or smoke right outside my door. It's really pissing me off.

I have a sansa and I'm getting so aggravated because whatever form videos from like youtube and google are in...i cant seem to convert them on my sansa media converter to put them on my sansa...I'm confusing myself just asking the question. the sansa media converter says that the supported file types for conversion are AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (.VOB), QUICKTIME MOV, AND WMV. How would a get, say, a youtube video into one of those forms? or is there another video site that has videos in this form? Im just not computer intelligent, I just dont get it.

My fiance and I live in Indiana County Pennsylvania. We do not attend any churches because he is druid and I really have no religion, but I am leaning towards druid or wicca. So I am sure you can see our problem. Wedding date: September 22, 2007. Our problem is a location and a person to legally perform the ceremony. Any suggestions?

I've been flying ILS approach using the B744 for most airports in both Autoland and manual mode. And also VORDME approach sometimes. Glideslope is pretty straight forward. But for VORDME, the question is after FAF am I suppose to fly to MDA asap and thereafter descend to the TDZ when I meet the RVR. Or do I need to use VNAV to descend to MDA (like a glideslope descend) then to the TDZ? Most plates I saw drew a straight line from the FAF to the RWY like a glideslope and seemed to ask pilot to do a gradual descend. Another question is some plates I saw permits the circle-to-land approach but only show that on a table with the required MDA but does not show the approach path. Is there a standard procedure of turns and descend that all pilots follow. Or does it depend on individual airport requirements? Is it a gradual descend I could use VNAV to help, or is it a MDA asap then MDA and VFR until final leg? Final question, should I have Vref and 3 greens set before or after FAF (B744)?

Somebody lost the only copy our local library had, and they said they'd reorder the book but it's been a month...
So, I was wondering if anybody could give me a brief summary of what happened so I can skip over the third and start reading the fourth. =) I've looked online w/ Google and I can only find summaries from the back of the book itself.
