I beleive that these number vary back and forth. Because of the situation of the world i think in the last few years there have been more people seeking religion and their god for help, but also many others blaming their god for allowing it to get to this point.

Not from religion itself, but from Christianity they are.

Christianity is no longer valid in the modern world where diseases have been explained, the evolution of man is proven, woman are equal to men, and technology reigns supreme.

We are getting our answers slowly but surely. Christianity no longer needs to supply them for us.

The only problem is that we're losing our connection with nature. Which is probably why you're seeing religions start to spring up that revere and love nature itself (like Wicca) and the renewal of very old religions (like Druidism) who loved and respected the awsome power of nature.

Mankind is beginning to find a new path and Christianity has run its course.

I think both, kinda like someone dies and more are born. The human population is higher now than it was 50 years ago, and the global "religions" are more prominant than they were 50 years ago also. Religion is much more widespread now.

I think more people are turning to religion. There is so much going on in the world today that people are ready to accept the Lord in their lives.

Depends on who you ask. A missionary told me yesterday that India was converting people faster than they could build churches. Many wanted to become ministers and didn't have a church to minister in.

equal cause some aren't born religously and some are born religously
like some people never go to church and some do every sunday it depends on how they were raised
