That's what Christianity starts out as. But after serving the Lord and learning of Him you forget the punishment and live for the love.

being a christian is not scary, if you believe in God and ask to be saved from burning in hell he will, and Satan want be poking anyone with a stick, hell was made by God to put Satan and his demons in , as their punishment, not for them to punish others that ended up in hell, and no one is biting anyone the biting is gnashing of teeth is the reaction to the pain of being burned forever..for your sins and where you never ask for forgiveness for your sins

Are you just finding out that all those books are fairy-tails to control the illiterate fools who believed the leaders, who were trying to scare them into obeying the orders.
I happy to see you waking up.

Er, yes. That's pretty much the idea of it all. Believe or die, as they say. Don't sin or you go to hell, repent or you go to hell, homosexuals go to hell, give us money or go to hell, do as we say or go to hell, etc.

No matter what you do, you are a sinner that must repent. You are evil incarnate from the time of your birth and only go downhill from there. BUT GOD LOVES YOU!!!

However, it's only scary if you follow it. For those that don't it is merely a silly fad.

Perhaps before spewing your uneducated bigotted crap you should actually open the book and read what it really says. You might be surprised.
