It seems our men and women who have actually seen first hand the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have a better attitude than our civilians. Why is it that so many of us fat comfortable people sitting at home feel we are qualified to make judgments about these wars?

I admit that I read Dan Brown's book Deception point that brought this up in my mind. I personally don't believe we'll colonize the moon and Mars. I don't know what benefit there is to knowing that there are planets out there that we can take pictures of. I don't know much about NASA, so can someone tell me why we spend billions of dollars on the space program?? Has it given us anything? Satelites are the only thing I can think of that touches my daily life.

I live in VA. and I am planning on getting my learner's permit soon. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if you have to pay extra for insurance if you have a learner's permit?

Just wondering because if I do, I need to get a job so I can pay it or else my grandmother will flip out.

It's me again!! Sorry to bother, but you guys are my only hope, your words make me relax a little bit sometimes!!
As some of you already know I had 4 (+)hpt and then when I went to the dr. office the urine test they did was (-) so they ordered me a blood test, which was (+) then they told me I needed another one to see if my levels of Hcg were raising, they called me Friday( 1/12/07) and said thy did double, that everything was ok, and I was up for my orientation appt. but did not happend, they said there was still one quantitative test left to do, that they neded to have 3 to make sure everything is fine, and the 3rd one is done a week after the second one which is TODAY, but I am scared, because as far as I know that means something is not going great, and I am stuck here waiting again for them to call me and give the good or bad news?? If I had a second quantitative test saying that my levels were raising, can the third one said otherwise? even with all this I have only see nurses
