Acetate is a thick, clear plastic that is used in various ways. If you just need plastic to wrap and protect something I would suggest something thinner and cheaper. You can generally buy acetate at any art supply store. I don't know what you have around you, but you could try Asel's, Utrecht, Dick Blick, Herwick's, or even Hobby Lobby or Michael's (but I'm not sure about those last two.) its generally a plastic that you can use to laminate or as a transparency for presentations. You can usually get acetates in any art store or in office supplies

That's a special piece of "paper" which is used mostly for presentations, you can buy it at Office Max but it's not meant for wrapping stuff, at least not that I know of.

I've forgotten what exactly acetate is, but you can get it from any art supply store. Don't remember how much it costs either...

It's a clear plastic sheet for covering things to protect them.
