It's me again!! Sorry to bother, but you guys are my only hope, your words make me relax a little bit sometimes!!
As some of you already know I had 4 (+)hpt and then when I went to the dr. office the urine test they did was (-) so they ordered me a blood test, which was (+) then they told me I needed another one to see if my levels of Hcg were raising, they called me Friday( 1/12/07) and said thy did double, that everything was ok, and I was up for my orientation appt. but did not happend, they said there was still one quantitative test left to do, that they neded to have 3 to make sure everything is fine, and the 3rd one is done a week after the second one which is TODAY, but I am scared, because as far as I know that means something is not going great, and I am stuck here waiting again for them to call me and give the good or bad news?? If I had a second quantitative test saying that my levels were raising, can the third one said otherwise? even with all this I have only see nurses

I had the exact same experience. My HPT tests came out very faint +. Urine test at dr's office came out -. Blood test came out +.

I also did about 3-4 blood tests since I found out I was pregnant and I'm getting another one (and hopefully the last) this friday.
It doesn't mean that something is wrong...The dr probably just wanted to make sure that your hcg level is raising propely.
If you didn't have any sign of miscarriage...you shouldn't worry about it. Welll even then...I had very heavy bleeding with clots but I'm still pregnant and I'm at week 7!!!
The best thing is just relax. I'm sure everything is ok.
GOOD LUCK!

It does not mean something isn't going great, you already doubled your last one, they're just making sure this one doubles the last to show a viable and growing fetus. Most women don't get the option to find out if their babies are growing or not, we're left waiting until the 12th week of pregnancy for an ultrasound, what would you prefer?

Nothing is wrong. They are just checking to make sure your levels are doubling like they should be. You already had one that showed they were.
No big deal really. Relax. Everything is going fine.

sounds like they are just trying to not miss anything which is good. It sounds like they know what they are doing and there's nothing that you can do but wait and see but at least you are getting answers...be sure to ask ALL your questions to the dr.

They just check to make sure the levels are still rising, it is normal don't worry.
