I just don't understand why I can't be confident with the decisions I make in my life regarding relationships. Even though I know its time to end a relationship, I keep on second guessing myself. Am I doing the right thing? Did I try hard enough in the relationship? Am I ever going to meet anyone else I can get along with. I can't stand the torture I put myself through! I know for me it only happens when open myself to building relationships with real people, and they usually must be people I admire, or seek to emulate.

Rarely do I ever read a compelling piece of text and think, "wow, I've been wrong all my life!" or, "I really need to change how I've been living."

It's amazing how many people think a well written post, or a link to a pithy video, or pages of scripture, or an article from a science journal is going to somehow convince people to suddenly give up belief systems they've held for years, or embrace ones they've never had.

The only thing Y!A has proven (to me) is just how poor the average persons grammar and spelling is, how close-minded people are to any ideas or beliefs that don't coincide with their own, and how uninformed and ignorant the public is.

Of course, I believed most of those things before coming to Y!A.

BTW - I'm not saying I don't fall into the above descriptions :-)

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 8 months, I'm 18 and he is 20. We have been living together for the past 4 months or so..we are very much in love. We have liked each other since I was 14 and he was 16. He's an amazing guy..he's very sweet to me and he tries to make me happy. On the downside..he has pretty bad A.D.D and I've learned to deal with it on the most part. He does a lot of things that really bother me though..he ALWAYS goes to his friend's house almost every night, and doesn't ask me if I feel like going..he just tells me we're going. He works with his best friend as a plumber and when they get home from work, I'm usually at work so he just takes off with his friend and when I get home, he's not there. It really annoys me that he just takes off and does whatever he wants. I usually ***** at him for it and tell him it makes me upset, and he says he will stop, but he hasn't. Am I overreacting or is he in the wrong?

I have a serious question. I know many people want to wait for sex until marriage and many don't. Some believe that sex should be in a comitted relationship and some want it for fun.

I am not judging any of these people, I am not saying which idea is right or wrong. I just want to know why according to the bible is it wrong? What does the bible say about it? Are any reasons given or is it just wrong? (Not a question about why it's better to wait but why does the bible tell us to wait or what the bible says) I have already heard why people say its better to wait for someone you love. I just need to know the biblical reasons. I have never really heard why or any reasons behind it.
