okay, don't laugh, one of my Mastiff stud dogs has a baby doll, that cries,he weighs nearly 18 stones now,and he's had this dolly since he was a puppy,he found it in the park,he's never chewed it up,and likes to sleep with it under his chin at night,he has tons of other toys, chewys, bones etc,but if he can't find his dolly he really gets upset, and really whines, hahaha, shhh none of his friends in the park know about his dolly,as he takes his tough guy rope pulls to the park,i'm so ashamed, hahaha

I have 3 dogs. My chihuahua is big on squeaky toys. My youngest golden retriever likes hard toys that she can really chew on. And my oldest dog..well he isnt really big on toys because he is very old. But when he was younger he loved tennis balls or pretty much anything you could throw and he could retrieve.

Their owner. :-) Seriously, if you are trying to get a dog interested in a toy for fetch, I have best success with something that has some floppy thing attached to it. Interesting texture is important. Interesting smell is good too -- try rubbing it on your face or armpit. You can also try using a Kong toy stuffed with food if your dog won't hold onto the toy to bring it back.

Bailey: The biggest stuffed toy he can find - also doubles as a pillow when he's finished playing.
Crystal: Likes small stuffed toys that squeak.
Logan: Tennis anyone? He loves his tennis balls!
Lylah: won't go anywhere without her 18" piece of rope!

They're all flatcoated retrievers, and they all have very different personalities.

I'd have to say my dog's favorite toy is probably her soft stuffed dog. She has a big basket full of different kinds of toys (beanie babies, squeakies, balls, rope toys, etc.) but it is her stuffed dog she plays with the most.

Oh, and she also loves paper balls. She is crazy about them!

My German Shepherd has a 3 foot by 2 foot fluffy Old English Sheepdog (stuffed....I would like to point that out lol). He shakes it, carries it around and then uses it as a pillow to sleep on.
