My friend and I have been growing apart. When I had called her out on her behavior (mostly regarding her lies) she and I spoke even less. There was about a month and a half where neither of us made contact, or should I say I didn't because I usually have to do it, but she sent me a text message wishing me a happy birthday and sent an online card. I honestly didn't expect her to acknowledge my birthday given that it appeared to me that she didn't want our friendship (due to numerous things and me calling her out).
To this day, nothing has changed. I call her or email her once a month to just catch up, but she doesn't make the effort to call or email me. I basically feel like I'm doing all the work. Her birthday is coming up and I'm debating about whether to text her a birthday message. Should I bother?
I really don't consider her a friend anymore because of what she's said and done to me so I don't know that it's even worth my time. Just need another opinion. Thanks!
