Universal health care I suppose would be a better term , and of course it would be paid for by our taxes alot of things are.

I see answers that are completely wrong regarding Universal Health. If you don't know what you're talking about, then shut up. At least 50% of your income is taxed? No, the average is 33%.
You must go to doctors on THEIR list? No, there is no list. Where did you come up with that one?

If you would rather pay for the military than pay for the health of your family then you deserve the problems you have.

Military superiority. Health care is never free, per se. The few countries that have "free health care" also has at least a 50% income tax (50% of what you earn goes to the govt.) to pay for it. If you made $350.00 a week, $175.00 would be deducted for taxes. Does that sound free?

Free health care. No one should have to die knowing that more could be done to save them.

Military superior guarentees nothing. Remember 9-11? What good does it do us to be able to nuke up the world 27 times if everyone is dying for lack of health care?

Global military superiority..... of course. Free healthcare system is socialism. We are not a socialistic nation.

Let each man be accountable for his own health. We need to protect our borders.

Some of us, to you out of this country, still beleieve in a free country, free of socialism. Though that may come as a shocker. Some of us are intending on fighting any more socialistic actions taken place by our Govt also.

It depends on who you ask. If you are rich enough to afford good health care you would vote for global military superiority, which in turn would help make you wealthier. Working people who struggle from paycheck to paycheck would of course put more value on universal health care. Our administration falls into the first category.

Free health care? I don't think so. It's bad enough when you pay for insurance...but you have to go to doctors that are on THEIR list. That sucks!
And we are quickly run out of men and women to serve in the military.....unless they start kidnapping kids out of high school.

Military superiority any day....if American's could rid our country of illegal aliens we could "afford" healthcare for all Americans...it's those anchor babies EVERY 9 months that we cannot afford!
