I'd like to sell four-to-six month Far-OTM covered calls on ~50 stocks; I'd also sell new 4-6 month calls whenever the prior calls expire. I'll have to make about 5-7 c.call transactions per month.

Since I have a full-time job, are there any tax issues I should be worried about? Can this volume of covered call option sales (upto about 60 sales orders per year for total 100-150 contracts) make me at risk of becoming an "active" trader and having the premiums taxed as income instead of capital gains? And if the premiums do get taxed as income, could that then cause any sales of the underlying equities to be taxed as income as well, or would I be able to maintain capital gains treatment on the underlying stocks?

Each year I make about 40-50 stock buy orders about perhaps about 20 sell orders so I'm probably doing about a 30% yearly asset turnover. The options proceeds would probably be under $12k per year in a $250k portfolio.

I think I might like this guy in my class but I'm not sure if I like him or if he likes me. I think I like him, but I have some mixed feelings. Someone mentioned a program called Polk that checks the VIN#'s on all kinds of vehicles.

I'm trying to find out if someone were to go to a junkyard and get a VIN# on a car, would they get caught? Would it be traced back that the car is in the junkyard?

i personally don't care-i am not attached to my last name-but i don't think i'd take my wifes last name-not against it but its not for me. i've thought about changing my last name..anyway

about a Captain in the foreign legion who was transferred to a desert outpost. On his orientation tour he noticed a very old, seedy looking camel tied out back of the enlisted men’s barracks. He asked the Sergeant leading the tour, "What's the camel for?".

The Sergeant replied "Well sir it's a long way from anywhere, and the men have natural sexual urges, so when they do, uh, we have the camel."

The captain said "Well if it's good for moral, then I guess it's all right with me."

After he had been at the fort for about 6 months the captain could not stand it any more so he told his Sergeant, "BRING IN THE CAMEL"

The sarge shrugged his shoulders and led the camel into the captains quarters.

I was told to move out by my boyfriend/babies dad...we are trying to patch things up and going to councelling soon.The reason for the break up are my suspcions and jealousies. He will see an attractive woman take her out for coffee or spend time with her alone and hide it from me and not awnser his phone. Then when I blow up he thinks he has done nothing rong. HE admits that he is attracted to them but nothing would happen. If I dont let him make friends with these women im caging him in,, but i dont know why he needs to have friends of the opposite sex. I am seriously wondering what you would do if this was you..let him have plutonic no sex relationship with women he finds attractive or be upset and suspicious and want to leave like I am.? Am I over reacting? Is it okay for your husbands/boyfriends to have friends of the opposite sex and be attracted to them and spend lots of alone time with them? Any input would be appreciated as I am lost right now.

M'kay, I'm raising this little baby mouse that I got to feed to my gecko (He didn't eat it) and I'm wondering if anybody has some advice. I'm feeding him every two hours with milk mixed with cream, and he's eating well. He's got soft, filky fur, is going to the bathroom by himself, and his eyes just opened.
