I have mild allergies (I tested as a +1 on blood test for dogs), and my French Bulldogs don't bother me. I just bathe mine once a week and they do not bother me (they even sleep with me). But, I do have to take a Zyrtec every day (but I have to without the dogs anyway, I have more problems with outdoor allergens).
Bulldogs (English) do seem to bother people more than some other Bully breeds, mainly because they produce more oil in there skin which causes them to bring more allergens from outside inside. I think that it would really depend on how bad you allergies are, and if you have allergy induced asthma (If you do I would defiantly not recommend any breed of dog). They do not shed very bad and they do not produce a lot of dander, but they still produce do some. I would just try to find someone with Bulldogs and see how you do around them.

Bulldogs tend to shed a lot and can really affect people with allergies. Talk to your breeder and spend some time with your potential pup to see if your allergies flair up.

Make a trip to the breeder. Hang out for a few and you'll find out first hand.
There are several breeds that are "less allergic" consider those instead.
I'm wildly allergic to cat dander and only a tiny bit with dogs.

The only way to find out would be to expose yourself to the dog you are interested in to see if you react to it or not. I would not buy one until I confirmed this. Any seller should understand and let you meet the dog ahead of time before committing to a purchase. Good luck!
