Yes, I did. In fact, alot of the homes in the area of mid state NY had cellars that were only accessable from the outside. Its funny, I live in Ohio now, and I don't know of anyhomes that are only accessable from the outside. Both areas that I lived in have relatively older homes also. While we are on the subject, whats the diff between a cellar and a basement? Is it the accessability from inside or out?

I had to stop and think what you meant for a minute. Our cellar has an outside door, but you don't have to go outside to go down the cellar, we have steps. I never lived in a house like that. It must not be very handy!

What kind of door are you talking about? An actual door with a knob on it or the 2 double doors? I live in a house with the 2 double doors on the outside.

Several. It was common at one point to build that way since often they were used as coal cellars and the delivery person had to have access to the storage area during delivery, and it wouldn't leave the living quarters open to them.

From adventure, it quite does sound like a freight prepare that's caught over your place via fact the noise seems to hang heavy and then circulate away at as quickly as. The debris hitting your place feels like somebody is throwing a house packed with furniture to crash into your place. The rain actually beats your place. All of that's while the twister passes right away over you. it quite is unreal while it hits. it quite is like an excellent can opener taking the roof off of your place. don't be a typhoon chaser. that's somewhat frightening and unsafe. you have no longer any administration over your environment in any respect.
