I don't expect someone to hand me a job on a silver platter but good ideas would be appreciated.

I graduated from a top school but it was out of state and thus non-existent to New York lawyers. I had average grades and awards for public service. My school's CSO is useless, can only find jobs in St. Louis, and has not heard of New York City.

I've been working as a temp lawyer for several years to pay the bills but now I feel I've been labeled as a "Temp" and thus untouchable. The work provides no marketable experience.

I'm not looking to be a big firm associate or an ADA. I know that's not likely. I don't expect to get 100 grand a year.
I want a job that allows me to pay my student loans and rent. If I have to I'll try to declare bankruptcy for as much of my other debt as I can. I want to get a job that teaches me something or, in other words, invests in me.

I have no connections in New York. Any ideas?

I can't make up my mind of Jesus Christ the Son of God, Jesus Christ the messenger, and Jesus who didn't fullfill the Messianic duties. Am I so lost???? Christians, Muslims, and Jews fight over me! Well, Rabbi doesn't try to force me into Judaism lol like the other two. The pastor and Imam tell me, repent today or you'll go to hell tomorrow! WTF?

Ok, seriously I'm really truly and desperately trying to find God. It hurts my heart so much that I can't find Him......and I don't know what to do. I'm 24 years old and I've never been this serious about God before. I feel like singing the song "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt to God. It doesn't help when man condemns me to hell lol, so don't try to pass that judgement to me cause I've heard those words so many times.

Wednesday my man got fired from his job working at the county! Well he went to another past of the county to see if he get another jon with the county the employer saiid yes you've got the job i'll call you friday and let you know when to start. WEll they never did call so we called them and they basically said the employers that hires ppl is out sick. Now if he can't get this job were screwed!!! I wonder if i can get onwelfare?
