i use ouch pouches but they are sort of thin. if you feel like you want something thicker, you can use gel pads. when i got my first pair of pointe shoes, i tried on all the pointe shoes that the store had and all of the pads and extra things that they had also. that is what i think you should do that way you can find the best for you! Good luck on pointe!!! oh and when you go either have a teacher come with you or make sure you have an experienced person fitting you.

Lambs wool or Ouch Pouches, NOT gel pads because you can't feel the floor enough. I've been on pointe for 3.5 years, and I just use tape and paper towels unless my feet hurt really badly, in which case I switch to Ouch Pouches.

you should be able to buy the pads when you buy the pointe shoes, that way you can ask the sales clerk what they recommend, because they know what they are talking about

When I was a kid, we used lambs wool. Ask your dance teacher, another student in the class, or the sales clerk where you buy your shoes.

use gel pads and wool. put the gel inside your tights so it doesn't move around.
