Yes, I used to drink raw milk decades ago before they started giving hormones to dairy cows. It is very rich and delicious, once you get used to it. Milk from the grocery store is very watery, sweet, and tasteless in comparison. A glass of raw milk and a slice of homemade wheat bread is extremely filling. No wonder people in olden times ate less. What they did eat was more pure and full-bodied and much more filling. A little bit of whole food goes a long way.

As a drinker of pasterdized milk for the last 24-so years, I have to tell you that raw milk is a lot better. You have a better taste of it, along with a lot of good benefits. Also, if you love whole milk (and I do!), raw milk is about the same without any of the pasterdization/putting antibodics into the milk. So if you can get raw milk, do so because you'd be doing your body good (to take from the old milk commericals!).

I grew up on raw milk(that is milk straight from the cow, into the bottle). NO pasteurisation, no nothing. I'm 50 and it is the best. It had some flavor, unlike the milk in the stores. You had to shake it before pouring because all the cream would come to the top and seperate and you wanted to mix it back in before drinking.
yummmmm

Sure, my grandparents and my mother lived on a dairy farm. I was not a big fan of raw milk as a child, but I loved fresh cream and butter and as I got older I grew to miss real milk as well.

I grew up on a Farm and clean cows milk and goats milk become constantly on the table interior the morning after chores the place completed. wellbeing reward I dont understand if there the place any different than I have been given a great form of calcium and sturdy fat at the same time as i become starting to be up from them the two. All i understand is my mom use to offer me a medium length pitcher of one of the two in basic terms for myself while i could have snack after college and it may be all long previous quarter-hour later. it could have something to do with the reality Ive never broken any bones" knock on my wood table" in spite of lots of the loopy stuff i exploit to do as a toddler like leaping off the roof of the barn to the barnyard below which become gravel and cement. yet different then that Im no longer fullyyt beneficial.

Straight from the cow? Sure. It has a higher fat content and is generally better tasting than store-bought milk. It is not readily available though. You have to live by a dairy farm to get it fresh.
