After gaining a freakishly weird confidence boost from the dance last night, I decided that not only did I like my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Allie (we danced for a few seconds together, w00t!), I liked her friend and mine, Megan (seemed like she liked me).

Now, both these girls, I don't know their relationship statuses, but I decided I should take a chance.

Shoul I go make the move? Ask them out or what?

And here I thought that you had gotten over your obsession (although that is a bit of a strong word) for getting a girlfriend...
My advice is, as hard as it seems, wait a bit before you make a move. Figure out possible scenarios, weigh the pros and cons, and ask your friends, or even Allie and Megan if they are single first. If you ask them out and they are dating someone, its a risk that you could have foreseen.
Don't do anything right away- maybe wait a week and flirt with Allie and Megan and decide who you like better (you can't date both). It'll give you time to mull things over and plan how to ask one of them out (and also to figure out if they're single and like you)
But you should be aware that getting rejected or going out and then breaking up is going to make things awkward- even more so since Megan and Allie are both your friend and friends with each other.
I know this last bit of advice is not wanted, and that I shouldn't be the one to talk, but it sounds like you want a girlfriend just to have a girlfriend- "I decided that.....I like"- people don't decide to like someone, and then genuinely have a crush on them- crushes just...happen. It sounds like you want a relationship of convenience (you both want to be going out, so you go out together). Especially since you say that Megan seemed to like you.
But you know what, even so, its up to you, and there is nothing wrong with dating just to be dating. Just be sure that this is what you want.
So yeah- wait a week, find out if they're single, flirt with them, then ask one of them to a movie or something on the weekend.
good luck

ask both out? You will be twisting a very tangled web if you do. Be careful with the best friend thing because it could get really ugly and the friendship could be ruined. If there are solid feelings there then i say go for it just use caution.

Glad you had a great time!

But, be careful on the bestest friend in the whole wide world area.
If you like her, and she doesn't like you in that way back, will you still be friends???

Good luck!

Yeah! From a girl's perspective, I think it's cool when a guy asks a girl out. It's so classic! You should so go for it.

Good luck!

ehhh naw!! Not if they are your friends. Its good that you have the confidence, but you dont want to ruin the good friendship or make it awkward.

Ask her out, invite her out again. If she really enjoyed being with you that night and sure they'll hang out again. Then start playing your cards with her and be straight about how you feel and what you want from her..............................
