I am 24, married, and I have 2 children. I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a teenager but have recentlky discovered that time has healed my back. Now that I have a clean bill of health and a straight back I am interested in joining the Air Force (something I have only dreamed about til now) and to become a nurse. Would it be selfish of me to leave my kids to join the military? I'm really sruggling with the idea of leaving them and my husband to follow this dream.

What thing that you first ever heard or saw that you thought could never be actually happened?

Many students of my country have always been of the opinion that the best brain behind the invention of technology is acquired from metaphysical practices and principles. And the metaphysical powers they acclaim have excluded the christian religous belief on the arts of science and technology. Moreso these lot always argue that one cannot rise to an envious point of technological perfection if one is not initiated into any occult where transcendental or rather supernatural knowledge is achieved by stanzas of ecantations and rituals.
Infact some of the students in question have concluded that a good christian cannot know much about the mystry behind the inventionof technology and pure scientific knowledge.

This is the story- Last Sunday, my girlfriend said she had to go to work at 4. I was napping, and woke to see her leaving at 3. So, I thought nothing of it until her boss calls at 3:30pm, asking where she was because she was late to work. Now I've been suspecting something, because she has been 2 and 3 hours late coming home from work recently. So, I get worried, and call her up at work at 4 and she's there. She says she went and got a wallet at Walmart, and thats why she was late. I ask if it really took 45 minutes to buy a wallet and she said yes. The funny thing about it is that we had just gotten home from Walmart. Well to make a long story short, she lied to me 4 different times about the situation. The last story was that she went to pick up this guys wife, and bring her home and they got high, which I don't tolerate. Then she said she was going to quit. Well yesterday, I came home and she was high again. SHe's lied to me 5 times in a week. I dumped her. Am I wrong?

IT'S A GIRL!! I stopped asking my relatives about what they think of names because the feedback is rarely positive. I am being induced on 1/16/07 if I don't go into labor first and we STILL can't find a name!!! Here is the list of names we like so far...

Matea (my husband's favorite - not sure what I think of it)

Callie/Caleigh

Maya

Kori

Addie/Adi/Adie (probably my least favorite. We liked Addison until I found out how ridiculously popular it is. So, we tried shortening it.)

Hayden (I LOVE this, but I know it's a pretty popular name for boys right now!)

We want an "M" name for either 1st or middle name because of a family member who recently passed. I am open to suggestions. I like names that are different and a little rare, but don't sound like you're trying too hard.

Specifically, sexual orientation; which includes transgender, bisexuality, heterosexuality, homosexuality, asexuality etc.

Does this come under gender studies? I'm only 13, but I have immense interest in this field & would like to plan for what I'll study when I go to college/university.

Thanks if you're capable of NOT giving me stupid answers but answers that I'll appreciate. I'll reward you with 15 points. :))

I mean, how can I expect to have a serious relationship with a woman who has shown such poor judgment? Plus, how can I take her to a $1500 a plate Republican fund raiser knowing that, at any moment, she might blurt out something positive about Pelosi or Kennedy or even Hillary! She is pretty hot, though.

And we all know God keeps his word.

Exodus 12:29
29Now it came about at midnight that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle.

2 Kings 2:23
Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, "Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!" 24When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number.

Here's the story. On the news yesterday, a guy drove off without paying for gas he put into his car. The police was called and there was a chase (police & guy). The guy jumped out of the car and ran and the police officer ran behind him (foot chase). The police office collapsed and died from a heart attack. According to the news, they are thinking about charging the guy with the death of the policeman. I am sorry this has happened to the police office, and the guy was wrong for driving off without paying for the gas, but do you think this guy should be charged for the officer's death?

I had baby October 19th. I didn't wrap so my milk never has dried up completely. I didn't breast feed. My period still hasn't shown and with all my other kiddos my period showed about 6 weeks later. I am worried and no longer have insurance to see what the problem is. Is maybe my SMALL amounts of milk leaking keeping me from having my period? My doc wasn't worried last time I saw him becasue he said sometimes it takes a bit. Is there anything I can do to try to bring on my period? I do have high BP since having baby but will take something if it will help! I am desperate! Thank you!
