This is the story- Last Sunday, my girlfriend said she had to go to work at 4. I was napping, and woke to see her leaving at 3. So, I thought nothing of it until her boss calls at 3:30pm, asking where she was because she was late to work. Now I've been suspecting something, because she has been 2 and 3 hours late coming home from work recently. So, I get worried, and call her up at work at 4 and she's there. She says she went and got a wallet at Walmart, and thats why she was late. I ask if it really took 45 minutes to buy a wallet and she said yes. The funny thing about it is that we had just gotten home from Walmart. Well to make a long story short, she lied to me 4 different times about the situation. The last story was that she went to pick up this guys wife, and bring her home and they got high, which I don't tolerate. Then she said she was going to quit. Well yesterday, I came home and she was high again. SHe's lied to me 5 times in a week. I dumped her. Am I wrong?

Thanks yah friends. I know I can count on you guys for your honesty.

Oh and another thing. I looked at the receipt for the wallet, and the time was ripped off. She claimed she wadded it up and threw it away, then got it back out because she knew I wanted to see it.

No, you weren't wrong, she was wrong for lying. Obviously if she's lied five times in a week to you something is going on that she does not want you to know. Go with your gut feeling, if you think something is up with her it probably is. If you would have stayed with her you would have had serious trust issues, so it's probably best that you got out.

I can see your point & once the lack of trust has been broken, then it is really hard to rebuild that trust. If you don't have trust in a relationship then there is really no reason to continue a bad situation. Let her go & pick yourself up and continue your life. You'll be okay in a few weeks!

No. Her behaviour is unacceptable. She is acting like a child. Lying about what she's doing and where she is. You can't trust her. Also, if you can't tolerate her getting high (which I understand) then you need to cut ties. Good decision, now stick to it.

No. If you can't trust your significant other then there is no real relationship there to begin with. Better to move on and find someone who you can enjoy being with and trust.

I don't think you are wrong for dumping her. However, I do think that it is the drug use that is making her lie like she is.
