I have an opportunity to us a vary talented wolf costumer to promote my dog/cat adoption organization. But I need a way to relate the wolf to the adoption process. Anyone have any ideas?

I help operate a pet adoption service. Mostly dogs and cats, we take in ferrets also but hand them off to a sister organization. One of our volunteers is a costumer, attends anime/sci-fi conventions in costume. This person also has a costume of a very friendly looking wolf and has offered to attend public functions to help draw attention to our cause.
I am looking for a storyline to relate the wolf to the adoption process. Something that would appeal to the children and still make sense to the adults.

You can say that a lost lonely puppy meets a wolf while he is out in the woods looking for food. The puppy is hungry and the wolf makes friends with him and helps him out. Then the wolf helps the puppy fidn a nice human adopter... stories like that promote friendships between people who are different from you. Hope that helps a little!

Just as a mascot i think i'm not sure really as for a slogan to go with wolf i hope i understood your question correctly
