Well you can, many have done it before, but the it's not so easy... I was once in your shoes, I met this girl (who was beautiful) and she claimed to be on the same page as me (moral speaking) but turned out she was a liberal nut case. On issues like abortion, homosexual marriage and so forth she felt it was wrong and she would never be involved in those but when it came to others she didn't think it was wrong. Our relationship ended on a sour note with a fight over moral and political beliefs, let me just say she seemed very anti-American.

LFMAO! I can't stand Nancy Pelosi--she's out for glitz and glamour!!! All she knows how to do is run her big mouth and cause trouble. Too bad she's the new speaker of the house- I think we're in for ride with this one!!
I think I'd tell your girlfriend to keep her opinions about Pelosi to herself and not take her to the dinner. If you take her to the dinner--and she talks about Pelosi--I'm they'll shut her down pretty quickly.
