The heat index of the of the pepper will remain hot. When it first hits your tongue you may feel the coolness of the refrigeration, but the hotness of the pepper is still there and you will feel that within seconds. Depending on how hot the peppers in the sauce are it can make for a searing experience.

Tabasco sauce isn't hot its spicy u cant cool down spicy because its the chemical stuff that's in it that makes it spicy
