The five highest peaks in the world are all in the Himalayas (with the exception of K2), mostly in Nepal.

Everest, K2, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu. With the exception of K2, all are on the border of China and Nepal. K2 is on the border of China and...well...what should I say...Kashmir. I'm not sure if the K2 can be considered to be in the Himalayas, though.
