Since the onset of the Iraqi war, Liberals and Conservatives have been bitterly debating the validity and moral righteousness of this war. When Bush announced his “new” strategy Wednesday evening, the response was swift and decisive. Even long-time Republican Senators and Representatives who have supported Bush through thick and thin, have harshly criticized Bush’s plan. Even top military advisers disagree with his “new” strategy. Considering that Bush pretty much stands alone on his new policy, isn’t it time for responsible Conservatives to admit they were wrong?

In other words, where x=time in days in the linear regression equation, y=mx+b, and R-squared instructs us on the relationship of time and our values along our linear regression line, is there something similar to R-squared to measure the relationship of time and a simple moving average line?

Stated otherwise, I can do a simple R-squared analysis each day and find the linear regression trendline which is best explained by time (i.e., 125 days has a R-squared of .97 whereas a 27 day period has an R-squared value of .00). Is there a similar test I can perform, then, to determine which moving average model (time series) is best suited for my data each day?

Would the best moving average model actually be the converse of the best linear regression model? In other words, if a 27 day period has an R-squared value of 0, it's essentially a straight horizontal line. As a result, the prediction intervals at .05 etc., both above and below, also tend to be fixed horizontal lines.

let n be any positive integer.
n! = n(n-1)(n-2)(n-3)...3*2*1
then why not 0! = 0(0-1)(0-2)(0-3)...
in the series constants like 1,2,3,... will not come because these are > 0.
secondly 1! is also 1 will it not mean that 0! = 1! or 0 = 1

I am a real novice with all this stuff, so I might not be able to explain this problem v well, however, here goes. When I get an email from Yahoo (on another email provider) it has various bits down the bottom (hyperlinks ?) to go to do different things for groups I am a member of, things like "change to digest/individual emails etc" . Over the last couple of days whenever I click on these (and others similar in other emails, web pages etc) I go, every time, straight to the neopets Login page. I just don't get it , what on earth is going on ? The same thing happened when there was an email address within a web page I was on, Clicked on the right bit and got to neopets again. My daughter is a member of Neopets, but assures me (huh!) that she hasn't done anything to cause this, says it is happening to her too. I'm not convinced, but how ? And how to resolve ?

I have got a cheap flight to visit my friend in Brussels but the flight goes into Charleroi airport. I am worried about getting into the city centre and even more worried about getting back in case I miss the flight. Does the bus leave from the same place in the centre of Brussels to go back to the airport and is it easy to find? Any info from anyone who has done it before would be great.

what I was wondering is i have one of those jump drives, or pen drives..whatever theyre callled..idk. but i have a huge project for school that i need to work on over the weekend and i wont be on my school computer...and the computer im going to be using for the weekend, doesnt have open office power point which is what i need to use. so i was wondering would it work to put my already half finished project on that jump drive, since its a powerpoint..and be able to work on it on a different computer that doesnt have open office powerpoint?

I've recently popped a few pimples (I know, I know) and now have a scab or two in their place. My skin is a disaster at the moment, with tons of acne. Would it be okay to get a facial with these problems, or should I wait for the scabs to heal?
