Is your wife on medication for this?If not then she needs to see gp asap. When women go through menopause(or the change)their hormones are all over the place and they experience hot/cold flushes and tend to have irrational behaviour like anger.Your wifes gp can prescribe some medication called HRT(Hormone Replacement Therapy)that will help relieve your wifes symptoms....good luck.

yes it is. what you can do to help her is to do some reasearch on the subject of menopause so that you can gain a better understanding of it. and you can also try to visit a vitamin store or health store to see if there are any supplements that you can buy for your woman to help balance out things. menopause is not like the monthly period where it lasts for a few days. this is something that can last for several years (depending on where she is in her menopause). the below two websites should help you get started.

Hormones play an important role in menopuase, they are out of wack, mood swings varys, physical changes, and the big one is the emotional changes, women all react differently during menopause, so your wife could be experiences some of those emotional issues. Can you address this to her, to support and understand her better, as I beleive you are trying to do. This will let her know, that you are there, and want to understand her better.

I had a friend describe to me her feelings of menopause. She said one day I woke up next to my husband and thought , "Wow, what a great man he is", the next day, she woke up, looked over at him sleeping and thought "What size casket would he take?" LOL

To answer your question, yes, women go through drastic mood swings, no fault of their own, and can get weepy, argumentive, moody all due to the hormone fluctuations. I would suggest she sees her gynecologist. Maybe she could start HRT(hormone replacement therapy) to get her over the rough spots.

Good luck and remember, it is a passing phase.

She can't help being moody, anymore than she can stop the hot flashes. I try to catch myself if I am being less than sweet...which happens often. My husband is up for sainthood now I am sure! Hang in there, I am sure she loves you, she really cannot help her mood swings. I see that about all of your answers involve HRT. Think carefully about that, they can be dangerous and I know for me they made things worse. PMS City!! I feel much better off of them. Good Luck God Bless!

My wife is starting and she is such a *****,.

First 20 years of marriage she gets to be like that because she has a period and now she gets to be even worse because she is losing her period.

I used to think, if it wasn't for that warm spot between their legs they wouldn't be worth feeding. But now I know I was wrong all this time. Truth is they are just not worth feeding.

It's normal for her to be going thru mood swings, however she should not be taking it out on you. You are innocent. She should remove herself when she starts to feel mean. Even if it upsets her, I hope that you have talked with her about this. She really needs to work on it, out of respect for you--her chosen lifetime mate.
