My boyfriend is going to be at a college 4-5 hours away from me and we both agreed we are going to stay together but we also talked and he said that we are only going to see each other on his breaks or if i drive and see him. So obviously we wont see each other very much at all. Does anyone have any advice for me? Other than phone email and IM'ing. Which we plan to do all. Thanks everybody!!

So far the Iraqis have either been unwilling or unable to do what is required for them to get control of their country and be able to run it themselves. What do all of you think about this? Do you believe that the Iraqis will step up and do the work? Or do you believe that the Iraqis will continue to be ineffectual, which will continue to make us nothing but a policing force in this country, as we are now?

Monday I ran eleven miles and I was feeling awfully tired. Then on Tuesday my legs and back were hurting. Yesterday my neck also started hurting. Today the back pain is gone, the ankles hurt just a little, but the neck pain is still there. Is this dangerous? I can tell it's muscle pain, but I'm getting worried since it won't go away and Ibuprofen or Icy Hot cream won't help.

An earlier question made me think of this.

If they do find a physiological reason for sexuality and it was possible to redirect your sexuality, would you do it?

Life would be so much easier when you would not have to deal with bigotry and ignorance. By the way, please excuse my ignorance.

what can I do, He's very intelligent, )not because he's my son) he speaks english, spanish and japanese, does math and reads a little. My wife and I have tried almost every thing from time out to speaking softly nothing has worked. We know it's not a hearing problem, that's been checked (and if we crinkle a bag of cookies or whisper popcorn he can hear it at the top of a full flight of stairs.

This is for my own curiosity, not a class or anything. But I recently saw a photo of the statue in St. Petersburg. The beautiful art work shows, Peter on a charging stallion with both hooves in the air.

I thought that the posture of the horse had meaning in such statuary. One hoove up meaning that a hero died as a rest of injuries sustained battle. Two hooves up meaning that the hero died in battle.

Didn’t Peter die in bed, of a bladder condition? He was not involved in a battle, correct? Why is he depicted this way?

I just watched the new Superman movie and it made me think. We often launch rockets and other aircraft from the belly of airplanes, why not spacecrafts? In the 1960's we originally developed the SR-71 Blackbird to be a spacecraft not an airplane. Then when the race to the moon developed we scrapped the idea of space travel and entered the space race. Now we have returned to the idea of traveling in space and returned to the concept of the SR-71 with the sapce shuttle. I understand why we can not launch it from a horizontal position on the ground, but why can't we launch it from an aircraft at altitude with much less payload to lift-off the ground and to worry about. The only exception would be the great loss if something malfunctions and it falls to the ground? Anyone able to offer the solution?

I mean lets face it...bringing the margin of pay up for the less paid only brings the 6-7 dollar an hour employees wage up and so forth...why because the employer wants to attract more employees and they can't do that at minimum wage rates so they bring there wages up.

Kinda like anti-union people...they complain about Unions and there pay but they don't look at it like they are really riding the coat-tails of those union workers...and in some cases there fellow workers. Because if it was not for Unions they would not be recieving the pay they are getting....study the beginning of Unions and what the employers paid the employees then to what it is now.

Now don't confuse this as a pro-union vs a anti-union post because it isn't....I personally think they have the advantages and disadvantages. I am just saying everyone wants to bash the raise but they do not look at what it does for them.

Lets face it there is a comparison...what do you think?
