Lot of Syrians and Greeks where I live too. PA. (small town) but we can find at restaurants here things like grapeleaves stuffed, kibbee, baklava. and a host of other ethnic foods from them. SOME people never even heard of this stuff other areas of the country. If you familiar with a Greek restaurant, I'm sure you have.
I can make all the stuff here, so I don't care where I move to, I will enjoy it.(NO, I'm not either nationality, but enjoy GOOD food.)

True fajitas. (beef skirt steak)

Seems, thanks to taco bell, anything put on a tortilla is being called a fajita these days. (There is no such thing as a chicken or shrimp fajita! Physically, the skirting around the stomach of a chicken or shrimp, doesn't exist.) Also, chalupas are not folded... they're flat and open. (sorry, another taco bell dumbing down.)

Anyway... if you've ever had real fajitas, you'd know the difference immediately when something else is passed off as them!
