How come the government gives up on you once you're past 25 or whatever age connexions stops at? I've done a degree and a PGCE and can't get a job, despite applying for heaps. The uni is supposed to help me, but they won't answer questions they don't like such as 'what else can I do besides teaching with my qualification?' and the people in the job centre are only willing to spend time with the people who want money, in my experience, rather than those who want jobs. I was just pointed in the direction of the job ads rather than given any advice, while I watched a girl applying for her benefit get heaps of time. The government has spent thousands of there money training me to teach- you'd think they'd ensure there were anough jobs to go around, or give those who haven't jobs a little more time and help in the search. Do you know anywhere else where I can get good careers advice please?

For my project I have to design 5 book jackets to promote my technological society of the future. I decided to make my society based on the moon and felt that keeping the laws and values of the society to a not very serious manner would make it more fun> As far I have these 4 ideas which I am sort of happy with-
-Criminals get sent to Pluto
-We want a clean environment so throw your litter down to earth
-Everyone has to do various jobs throughout the year so it makes everyone multi skilled and far more flexible
-The society is looked after by an army of robocops
If anyone can think of any other ideas I will be very grateful. I am really struggling for ideas at the moment.

I'm am a 37 year old 170 lb male looking to start to work out for the first time in years. I am not fat but not in shape either. Last week I joined a fittness club and would like to loose the fat and gain some muscle. Maybe even a six pack. when I started on the treadmill in told me to start at 20 min and work up from there. After walking for the 20 min it said I lost around 100 calories? Don't you eat like 2000 a day? Even when I get up to 40 min a day that would only be 200 calories? Am I missing something? I know I need to use the other machines so will I be working out for 2 hour a day? I don't have time for that!??! What is the formula for success? Will I feel better afterward or will I feel drained always? What can I expect in 2 months, 4 months, 6 months?

Me and willis are very happy. we have been together for over 12 years. Dave Matthews is one of my favourite musicians. He was born in South Africa and is now an American citizen. He used to refer to himself as African-American but encountered much animosity for it. A person does not have to be black to be African-American. If a White or Black person was born in Europe and emigrated to the U.S., wouldn't they both be Europeans?

I'm thinkning of buying a cat and would like a few opinions as everyone has a different view!

Firstly, is it mean to put the cat ourside when i leave for work at 8.00am to let it in for the night when i get back at 5.00pm??I live in a ground floor flat so i cant have a cat flap and i'm not sure if there is such a thing for a window?

Also, if i left the cat indoors for that amount of time, will it trash my flat?

Im a student of Psychology and I REALLY loved it at first. I have to sit for an exam at the end of this month, and when ever I sit down to study, I keep thinking - maybe this is not the correct field for me!..and maybe I'll be better at nursing or Sociology!...How do I change this?...I have lost so many opportunities in life because of this sudden change of heart...So how do I know that psychology is the field for me?...Please advise
