it is a horrible term for stupid guys to use. it shows that they have no respect for women. their intelligence is also not that great

It also comes from the sound of a man's lower body slamming into the buttocks of a woman...that slap slap tap tap sound sounds like someone is being slapped, hence the terms I'd hit it or I'd tap that a$$, or I'd knock it out.

It means the same as "I'd tap that @ss". Guys will look at girls and either think to themselves or tell their friends.."I'd hit that" meaning she's kind of sexy.
