I figure since I will be in South Africa for 3 weeks, I would like to see as much as I can, however, some of the people I am going with would also like to go to Egypt as well. Is it reasonable to go to Cairo for the weekend?

Has is ever occurred to anyone else, like it did for me, that yearning for excessive, scalding heat may be an indicator that you yearn for hellfire? I was in the shower just now, and I couldn't get the water hot enough! I know some christians must enjoy a nice hot bath (unlike the devout Catholic grandfather from Family Guy, who liked his showers cold as ice). Just a weird thought! Atheists as well as theists, what is your input? Am I a demon?

that is not destructive to the embryo, does anyone see any reason that research should not continue using these cells?

For those who haven't read the article, scientists have discovered a way to extract stem cells from the amniotic fluid in the womb, rather than from the embryo. This does not hurt the embryo in any way. Does anyone feel there is still a moral issue surrounding THIS particular form of stem cell research?

Both my computer desk and entertainment unit are in the living room of my tiny house, and can not really be moved or gated off in any way.

So I need to put doors on them to prevent tiny fingers from destroying them or getting hurt.

The problem with the computer is that it tends to overheat because it is over-clocked, so I assume I can not use a solid door. Why a computer that is used 99% of the time to browse the web needs to be over-clocked is beyond me, but I am not a man and I try not to judge those who are ;-) I am thinking of either making the door out of window screening or fabric. However, I am not sure that either is strong enough to withstand the rough and tumble and poking of a child. It also needs to be cleanable. So any other ideas would be appreciated.

Also do you think Plexiglas is best for in front of the vcr/dvd/satellite part of the entertainment unit? Or something else? Of course it needs to be durable and needs to let remote signals to pass through.

Conscientious Rejector?
First Lieutenant Ehren Watada still refuses Iraq deployment orders, calling the war illegal. A six-year prison term could result. Preliminary hearings are set for Thursday.

First Lt. Ehren Watada, a 28-year-old Hawaii native, is the first commissioned officer in the U.S. to publicly refuse deployment to Iraq. He announced last June his decision not to deploy on the grounds the war is illegal.

Lt. Watada was based at Fort Lewis, Washington, with the Army's 3rd (Stryker) Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. He has remained on base, thus avoiding charges of desertion.

He does, however, face one count of "missing troop movement" and four counts of "conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman." If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison.

Watada's court martial is on February 5. A pre-trial hearing is set for this week.

Hi,
I am installing a electrical panel on my new addition. My question is should I mount it directly onto the plywood? Or should I wait until the addition is stuccoed before I mount it? or is there a better way. I am going to mount it on the outside, instead of between the studs.

Thanks,
pb4sc
