do you have any brothers that he gets along with, does he have any cousins? If not then just having your 3 girls will still look pretty. And when it comes time for the first dance their dates can stand to the side and cut in when the time comes. Good luck!

so he doesn't want any groomsmen? can he not come up with a best man? what about his dad or and uncle or something like that? I would say at least have that! if not you could scrap your bridemaids, its not essential to the day, but if you have already asked these girls, I wouldn't-frankly its a really big honor, and while I would understand, I would be pretty upset if you yanked that from me. If you haven't actually asked the girls, then I guess you could do it w/o them. Also, you don't have to have the same numbers, 2 girls can walk with one guy-1 on each side, or he could come up with a best man and oyu could have the maid of honor walk with him and then the other 2 bridesmaids could just walk about beside each other or separately, it wouldn't bother me to see it!

Nobody said you had to have matching pairs...I had a MOH and a bridesmaid, he had a best man. The best man looked great marching two ladies down the aisle!
Seriously, no worries. There's only a couple photos that that might look odd in, and if your photographer's worth his or her salt, he'll be able to come up with a suitable composition for the people you've got. The most important thing is that you have who you want in the bridal party. No more, no less.

Well, either way you are going to need at least 2 witnesses to sign the paperwork...so, that being said, don't scrap your girls. Usually the MoH and BM are the 2 who sign. If your fiance doesn't have 3 people he considers close, why not 1 or 2 friends and his father?? The two sides don't need to match exactly, but you will need someone.

nowadays it doesn't matter...you can do or have as many bridesmaids as you want...they will simply walk down the aisle before you, they do not need escorts and during the ceremony after you hand your bouquet to your maid/matron of honor they will stand off to the side of you anyway
The bestman should be the person he is the closest to...
i once attended a wedding where the grooms father was his bestman
so do whatever y'all want

You can use your brothers, nephews, cousins, workmates - there have to be SOME - but I know what your hub to be means. My man was the same way. We used a cousin of mine for his best man (even though they didn't really know each other well - we explained the circumstances), and two nephews as groomsmen.

You do NOT have to match the number of people on each side. It totally doesn't matter at all if you have uneven sides.
If you have already asked these people to be in your wedding, to scrap them now, for ANY reason, would be extremely rude of you.

there is no "Wedding Law" that says your parties need to match up. Just do what you want. Have your best representatives there no matter how many or few.

I think that you could still keep them. They could carry a bouquet and walk down the aisle. It would still look very pretty.
