Do you believe in God?

NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the
highest
number of responses that they have ever had for one of their
polls, and the
Percentage was the same as this:


14% to keep the words, IN God We Trust and God in the Pledge
of Allegiance
86% against.

That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.


Therefore, I have a very hard time understanding why there is
such
A mess about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having
God in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Why is the world catering to this 86%?

AMEN!

just wondering? i mean they don't really exist yet my friend is terrified of them. Like if a dog starts barking she will FLIP out! And don't you think that if they "wanted" our planet they would have taken it already? Before all of the polution and they global warming. So really why are people so scared?

I've been receiving very dirty e-mails for the past 2 years to my e-mail accounts by a person who seems to know a whole lot about me. He/she has also sent personal nasty e-mails aboutme to my friends and family. I have shut down my e-mail accounts and started new ones, and I still end up getting them there. he/she uses different accounts every time, and uses an IP bouncer, cannot trace where the mails are coming from. I have filed a police report, but they cant take action unless I receive a physical threat in person. Personal investigator too expensive. I am truly afraid by the content of these e-mails. I have been getting multiple calls for someone who doesn't live here from some company claiming it is not a sales call but they don't say who they are or why they are calling. How do you think Indian women in urban areas who face domestic violence can be inspired to stop accepting abuse and get a divorce and move on in life? Also according to the Indian Penal Code what is the legal punishment for a guy who abuses his wife? Can the punishment be increased if kids are involved who are not directly physically abused by the guy but face a lot of mental torture due to the actions of the guy. The wife is too submisive and religious to take steps against the husband. How can she be inspired/convinced to do so?
