Having a life partner to share the good and bad times with is awesome and if you marry the right person it can be the ultimate experience. My wife and I both lived single and had our own, very independant lives before we met. Now we share every aspect of our lives together and nothing has ever made me happier. I think most people want to have a partner to live their lives with. I think it is human nature. Poeple should just take the time to get to know each other better before they make the life long commitment....then the divorce rate wouldn't be so high.

In theory, marriage is the greatest institution in existence. We all want someone to do things with, share our lives with, have families with, laugh, love, and be happy for the rest of our lives with.......in practice, however, it SELDOM works out that way. I was MUCH lonelier married, than I ever thought about being, since my divorce.

seen too many romantic comedies that picture love and marriage in an unrealistic light. My goal in life is to NOT get married.

safesex promises never to be broken, security,mating for life and it just plain feels good to be married to a kindhearted individaul.If you marry a jerk it sucks.
