Listening to the game with co-workers, who I don't really like, but they are calling for Trent Green, Dante Hall and Lawrence Tynes' heads. Green hasn't been having a great year since the injury but everyone loved him before then now they want him benched. Dante Hall was a hero when he was returning kicks for TDs doing the same things he is doing now, but now he is a moron. Now Tynes was just referred to as another Lynn Elliot...

Is it like this in every town? I hear a lot of announcers saying that KC is a tough place to play and the fans are great and I'm sitting with idiots who have already decided the game is over and it's only 6-0

I am not sure why but I have a very tinny sound when things are played on my computer I have tried everything I can think of. I have downloaded the drivers again but no help.. not sure if I just need a New sound card.

I'm 15 years old.I'm moving to Chicago in 2009, thats when I graduate. I plan on attending ITT, UIC ,or CSU.I plan on visting next year when I'm 17. Where are good places to live near these colleges? Should I go on job interviews in Chicago in 09 to maintain my cost of living? I'm starting a bank account this summer, to like save and plus I'm getting another job.. I'll have help from 1 other person for sure. So what should an Ohio girl consider before moving to Chicago? All answers help

One of my dogs had ear mites. We've dealt with this before, so I gave him the drops, but they kept coming back. Now my two dogs and three cats have them and I can't get rid of them!

I've treated all the animals' ears, given baths with flea shampoo, sprayed them with flea spray, washed every conceivable washable surface in my house (and car!) and they still have the mites. I'd like to avoid costly vet visits if possible, so is there anything else I can do at home to help this problem?

Example: I'm looking at an old book.

It's quite common for English speakers to always use the indefinite article 'an' before any vowel. However, is it actually grammatically correct? Since 'a' or 'an' describes the noun and not the adjective, shouldn't it be correctly written, I'm looking at a old book? Because we don't say an book, we say a book.

Furthermore, if that is correct, than what about Proper names for nouns?

Example: I'm looking at an "Undergraduate Major Change" form.

We're describing two things here, an undergraduate major change and a form. It sounds odd, but couldn't it be correctly written with 'a' since we're still describing a form?

I just don't understand how people could kill, hurt, steal, lie, cheat, decieve, sin, and just do wrong. As if this world isn't already bad enough, people have to make bad choices and hurt others as well as themselves. I try my best to be a good, kind person who makes good decisions and thnks about the consequenses of my actions before I do something stupid or wrong or something I'll regret later and possibly for the rest of my life....why can't everyone do this? It isn't fair to good people, and it's disapointing to God, who loves all of us. Any insight?

i'm a 19 year old student, i left home last summer because i no longer get on with my grandparents and their son, my uncle is someone who i feel has many issues for example he gave his brother a wound which required stitches for drinking out of HIS cup, over the summer he threw me on the floor for sitting in HIS chair, he has never had a girlfriend and freaks out at the mention of sex, he once hung up on my ex deliberately because "i dont speak to your gf"yet we've caught him watching porn in the living room, anyway my grandparents constantly support him despite the fact he threatens violence recent examples include threatening me with the police for using my own video player which gave me and taking it to uni, and to beat me up for using HIS shower time and moving HIS toothbrush, and he insults myself and my mother and all of this is driving me mad its making me feel ill i stay up all night to be alone, when i sleep i don't get any rest i wake up feeling just the same i'm going nuts
