I feel dumb asking this, but I just bought an external hard drive and FireWire is new stuff to me. I have the unit connected to my PC via FireWire 400 using a six foot cable. Would switching to a three foot cable make my transfers faster?

We recently decided on naming our new baby girl Erica and her last name will be Meyer. I thought Corynne would be a pretty middle name, but my other half thinks it sounds funny with Erica.
Hmmm...Got any better deas?
We tend to like classic but pretty/femminine sounding names and would like to stay away from the super trendy names(i.e Hailey or Jaden...etc.) nor the overly-used middlenames(i.e Ann, Marie, Lynn, Rose... etc.)

If it helps Mommy's name = Kirsten Martina Meyer
and Daddy's name = Dale Paul Meyer

It was my first time travelling on the greyhound, as we took a month off to travel .We had just came back from a trip to mexico and once we landed at the airport took the greyhound. My husbands idea not mine. I told him I would rather pick up our own car and drive to florida since we had two more weeks remaining but he though it would be easier then driving since we just came back from Mexico . We were both horrified! I'm sorry to say but we both thought we would be mugged .Everything from Alcholics or unusual people and even some man panhandling for money on the bus !Well my husband for the return trip then decided I was right and made me buy airline tickets back .

I hear all this stuff about carbs. Good carbs...bad carbs..what kind of carbs are good?

For example, I am trying to lose weight so I am resticting my diet to eating foods that are low calorie and less than 30% calories from fat.

I was going ot have a bowl of jasmine rice for dinner (0 fat - 160 calories), but rice is a carb. Soo....should I eat jasmine rice, is it a "good carb" or what?

I was wondering that the American always saying the humanr ight but what I heard from the world news that Bush made opposite on it specially hanging sentence for Sadam Husien , why ? And everyday there are killed Iraqi and Afganistan ? I found a text message on M's phone from a woman(L) and I called her. She said that on Tksgvng night(he told me he had his kids that night) she met M in a bar & they danced, talked, & at closing he walked her to her car. He was there alone. Next morning he drove about 30 mins. to the cafe where she works, had breakfast with her(by himself) , asked her out, got her number and told her she ought to come to a Karate tourn. he was in on Dec.9.(Which he discouraged me from coming to saying that he wouldn't be able to spend time with me there). L said that M never called her back or anything for two weeks so she went to the tourn. to see him. L said that M led her to thnk they might get together later but she tried to call his phone and it was turned off(he was with me).L says M has never called her. His story: He went to the bar with Shane. S liked L's friend(T) who also works at the cafe. S asked M to go eat breakfast so he could see T. M says that L showed up at tourn. uninvited. Help!
