i'd say if you are under 20 and you should date someone for at least a full year maybe 2 so that you can really know what you are in for

It's not so much age but how flexible the two people are and how you think that the two of you will change and grow together over the years.

You will not be the same person at 30 that you were at 20, or 40, or 50, etc.

So just make sure you're with someone who:

You communicate well with
You have a lot in common with
Is smart with money
Doesn't show ANY abusive tendencies

And it helps to pick someone who doesn't get moody all the time and has a positive outlook on life.

Under 18 is too young, I would personally recomend not getting married any younger than 20, and for good reason, date for at least a good 2-3 years, and get to know each other first, before getting married.

Too young is younger than 16.
How old should anyone be?....At least 16 w/ parental consent preferably 18 and older.

My husband and I dated 116 days. Just about 4 months. Other people in my family have gotten married faster than that. In general, my family doesn't wait around, and we are pretty successful.

Most other people will tell you to date at least date a year or more to really know the person.

I met my husband when i was 18.We dated for six yrs then we got married.I thought I was ready to get married when I first met him so I was very anxious. We've been married for a year now and It feels the same as it did before we were married.Just don't rush especially if you are young. You do not realize how much you can change from the age of 17 to 25.Make sure this is what you really want and that you really know this person before you make such a big commitment!!!After marrage is supposed to be 4-ever.I'd say that longer you date the better! This will give you more time to make sure that he/she is what you want and only what you want for the rest of your life.

When two people are ready to make a lifetime committ-
ment with each other, to include trust; understanding;
support; communication, unconditional, then they are the
right age to be married, therefore one needs to be aged
in the morals of marriage and that has to be decided
amongst the two people being married.

There is no time-table for getting married......when you're both ready to be in a committed relationship for the rest of your life...then you're ready.

I personally think both people should be at least 27 years old.

Totally agree with daljack. Obviously it's up to the individual, and there is no hard & fast rule - there are always exceptions, but I definitely think 27 is a good starting age.
