Everyone keeps saying traitor, but if everyone recalls the Red SUX didn't sign him because they didn't think he was worth the money...so he left. Who wouldn't leave that was a true slap in the face for him. They are willing to pay JD Drew but not Johnny Damon...shows how stupid Sux are. Sorry SUX you are paying the wrong JD. Guess all the Clearsil went to Theo's brain.

Anyway, on the the questions. I love him. I met him in Baltimore and he was a really nice guy. People were waiting on him for autographs. They started pushing the kids out of the way. I got a little boys shirt and handed it to him before mine and he saw me do that. So, he signed my shirt and them offered to take a picture also because of it. He did get angry with the adults that were pushing the kids. He said, "come on guys you want me to sign your stuff before all these kids, I won't do it...kids come first."

You have good taste!

I likeJohnny Damon. He is a good lead off hitter ,decent speed, legitimate power especially with the right field porch there .He is a good fielder but I wish his arm was a little stronger.

I loved him when he was in Boston. He was the kind of guy who everyone in Boston adored and admired and when he made the statement saying that he would never play for the Yankees. Period' everyone in Boston believed him. After he left to New York he just slapped Boston in the face so in a sense I'm glad he is gone. To me he is now Johnny Demon.

When he was on Boston is easy going attitude really pissed me off. When he came to New York i could see why all the Boston fans and teammates loved him, he's a great guy and keeps the clubhouse loose.

He is a decent hitter but not a very good defensive center fielder. His arm is far too weak to be considered a great outfielder. You need to look at Torii Hunter to see what a true center fielder is.

Love him. Loved to hate him when he was on the Red Sox. So glad he's on the Yankees now.

i like him....i don't see how sox fans can call him a traitor. he cashed in on winning your team their first series in 86 years. the yankees gave him the better deal so he took it, but i wish the yankees would drop their stupid beard policy, it kinda sucks.
